Laura L. Barrera, LPC, NCC

Licensed Professional Counselor - National Certified Counselor

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a place where they can speak honestly, feel understood, and receive support without judgment. As a wife and mother, I understand how easy it is to care for everyone else while putting your own needs last.

I bring warmth, compassion, and a down-to-earth presence into the therapy space. I value genuine connection and want our conversations to feel comfortable, collaborative, and meaningful. My hope is that you leave each session feeling a little more understood, grounded, and confident in your ability to navigate what comes next.

My clinical experience has allowed me to support adults facing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, caregiver stress, relationship difficulties, parenting concerns, and major life changes. I draw from person-centered and evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to each person’s needs, strengths, and goals

Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, but you do not have to wait until everything feels unmanageable. Wherever you are in your journey, you are welcome to come as you are.
